To those of you with horses, consider joining the Michigan Equine Partnership program. I am providing a link to their website. They are building a new Equine center here in Michigan and need our support. This is an opportunity not only to promote the Equine industry here in Michigan, but to bring new jobs to our area.

They are a driving force to keep Michigan Trails open to horses and riders. They are our voice to political action here in Michigan. Lets not give up our right to ride.

Take a minute, go to the web, site read some of the articles; it's the least you can do for your horse. It doesn't matter if you have minis, mules, Quarter Horses, Draft Horses, or Race Horses this is a partnership open to all breeds.

Speak up now, don't waste your rights, hoping someone else will take care of it for you.

 

Barn Cleaning

• Only time it was fresh and original was when Lee Iacocca said it the mid 80’s. 
• Come up with a new buzz word or say nothing, just shows your not cleaver enough to use the English language.
• Bailouts
• Not having control on how much of my money they hand out or to whom.
• Presidents (all elected officials)
• Blaming the last person that held the office for their problems
• If they can't fix the problems they shouldn't run for office.
• Not being held accountable.
• Creating corruption
• Wall Street
• Being encouraged to invest in the future only to be set up and robbed of retirement savings.
• They should by law be required to return the money to investors
• Not fly off in jets, hole up in hotels, or party on islands.
• Pay back the money, and if something is left use it for your defense.
• Government
• Allowing the crooks to take the money and run.

Need an asprin?

• Senators
• Who are so lame to beat up the auto industry leaders for building cars the American public wants to buy.
• Auto Leaders
• Caving to senators when accused of not knowing how to run their business.
• What would you rather buy a SUV or a mini death trap?
• The Big Three knew what to build they just didn’t defend it!
• Americans
• Forgetting it was Gas prices that killed the Big Three not Detroit.
• Those who ignore what elected officials are doing.
• Not realizing the gas hike was created to sell small cars.
• Worked in the 70’s.
• Paradigms switch (creating situations to not only get you to do something but to convince you it was what “you” wanted).
• Maybe that is why the auto leaders allowed the kick in the teeth…get kicked around with a little cash to change the buying habits of Americans?
• Oil companies
• Starting a feeding frenzy on the public to pad their pockets before an administration change.
• What do they want?
• They have our gas money (why are prices lower now?)
• They stripped us of retirement savings (stock market crooks)
• They sold out the housing market
• Out-sourced our jobs
• Over priced the cost of health care
• Who is really behind the stock market nose-dives

Last straw.....

• Corporations
• Pay employees less and still raise prices.
• Who do they expect to buy their products?
• Hiring Managers that only know how to make money by cutting back on employees.
• Hiring Managers that only know how to make money by consolidating divisions.
• I think as a term of employment the managers must make a profit by retaining assets. 
• Hiring Managers that only know how to make money by cutting the skilled employees for the un-skilled (half the wage.)
• Think about all the jobs and skills lost for the bottom line due to the incompetence of managers.
• Think about all the failed businesses lost due to managers staffing of the less skilled employees.
• Hiring Managers
• Only hiring so called “team players”. 
• Loose interpretation:   anyone who doesn’t question
• Only hiring Happy, Peppy, People oriented, Professional, degreed, master degreed people to sweep floors. Salary $7.50 an hour.  Must be able to lift 100 lbs consistently while training other employees to program our new computer system. Must be will to work all hours and travel. Skilled need only apply
• Really means were looking for someone stupid enough to think they qualify based on listing, and will compensate them accordingly.
